One of the other elements is Tissue IQ™ -
which refers to "teaching the system how to properly
engage the core and maximize core strength."
This is the most common weakness within the system that seems
basic - but is a common reason for injury and recurring injuries over time.
Highlight Diagnosis: PF
Plantar Fasciitis is a painful condition that occurs when the plantar fascia along the sole of the foot becomes inflamed and matted down.
This process creates a restriction within the local tissue that disables the regular "slide and glide" action of the fascial fibers.
Instead, the fibers become glued together and when they break apart
the effect is similar to Velcro patches separating.
Until we actually heal the architecture of the plantar fascia, this condition will continue to interrupt daily life - activities such as walking, running and exercising can become extremely irritating and lead to a worsening of the symptoms.
STM™ utilizes a combination of Neurofascial™ therapy via IASTM that identifies and directly reduces specific restrictions along the fascial chain.
In addition, STM™ incorporates other elements such as shockwave therapy (EPAT), Kinesiology Taping (RockTape), and Tissue IQ™ (form of neuro signal training) to help reprogram the relationship between the brain and the body.
